A Research Assistant in the PPP for Cities

• Researching and writing case studies and reports related to the center’s core areas (using qualitative methodologies, although quantitative experience is welcomed). Topics could include collaborations, PPPs, and ecosystems in the context of cities and regions, and in areas such as sustainability, procurement, mobility, logistics, energy, real estate, innovation districts, PPPs, city governance, urban Planning.


• Contributing to the research of the professor (literature review, data collection, writing…).


• Contribute to creation of communications materials for the center (workshop minutes, newsletters, presentations…).


• Contribute to the organization of workshops and events.


• Other activities and production of materials related to the center’s ongoing needs. We expect a proactive and flexible profile.

• Work-permit in Spain


• BS / BA degree or Master’s degree (preferably in Economics or related).


• High level command of English and excellent writing skills in English (Catalan and Spanish will be strongly valued).


• Students finalizing a BS/BA with strong record or a Master Degree related to the center’s research areas are welcomed.


• Students envisaging to pursue a PhD in such areas are also welcomed.


• Some experience in research and knowledge of research qualitative methods will be valued. Quantitative knowledge is also welcomed

• Experience in events management and production of communication materials will be valued.

Full-time position

1.830 euros / months before tax

1 year with the possibility of extending.
